L. Sanders - Peer Mediators
Peer Mediators are fourth and fifth grade students who selected because they demonstrate the leadership qualities of:
helping others
respecting authority
completing tasks
following directions
has good grades ( C's or better in all subjects)
Students nominate themselves. They can receive up to 25 points from their teachers. They have to get the endorsement of two employees at the school. They must earn points by participating in a 10 question interview. A total of 37 points is possible. Students with the highest points in each class are invited to become peer mediators.
